Timex Triathlon Men's Watch

I really liked this watch at first, although I thought there was an excessive amount of button-pushing involved to use any of the functions। It is supposedly water resistant, but after a particularly sweaty work-out, I noticed condensation inside the lens, and so I didn't let it get moist again. I've had it all of *six months,* and it died. Took it apart and it is full of crud. I've never seen a cheaper watch. It's not even worth it to send it in for a warranty replacement.

Timex Men's Ironman Triathlon 42 Lap Combo Analog Digital Dress Watch #T56371

I got this watch over a year ago, and it is the only watch I have consistently worn during the winter and summer months alike। I truly love that it is both sturdy and functional, while maintaining a polished and dressy look at the same time। I'll reiterate the same points others have said. When you turn the dial to change the analog time, it is not synced up to change the digital. On top of that, there are separate batteries, so while my analog arms are dead, the digital is still running. That's a disappointment, and I can understand that at the price point that may not be possible, but I have to believe for a higher price point it would be easily syncable. I would pay as much as $120 for the ability to sync and a better, more vibrant backlight. The backlight is terrible. Didn't find many problems with the alarm other than it is a little bit confusing to set, but once you figure it out, it's fine. It's just an average watch alarm. Aside from the movie comparisons, though, this is by far the best watch I've ever owned, and has already more than paid for it's $60 price point (now it's $50). The fuctions abound, from chrono stopwatch, to lap counter, to giving you the day of the week, month and day, and AM/PM. I think my favorite function is that you can hold down the top right hand button for a few seconds to make the digital time disappear and just show the analog. I prefer the digital, but when I want it to look a little more dressy and classic, I can easily convert it. This is a very well made watch for the money, and a purchase you can't go wrong with. Just don't expect the watch you saw in the movie, and you'll be fine.

Timex Men's Ironman Triathlon 42-Lap Combo Analog Digital Dress Watch #T56381

Full size 42-Lap Ironman Triathlon combo. INDIGLO night-light. Digital screen can be turned on and off. 24-hour chronograph with lap and split. 42-lap memory recall. 3 interval timers settable up to 100 minutes with countdown repeat function. 2 alarms settable for daily or one day. 2 time zones Forward or backward setting. 12/24 hour time. Month/day/date. Reverse display. Water resistant to 100 meters.

I ordered both this and the all stainless steel version. I am very pleased with both. I admit, I purchased the watches after seeing the movie "Stranger Than Fiction"। Of course, the watch does not have all of the features that are in the movie but both watches are heavy, good quality & great looking. I just re-ordered the "black" watch after a quad accident this past weekend that deeply scratched the crystal and bezel. The watch is still working great but will now be used only for backpacking, quad riding and other outdoor activities where looks don't matter.

Timex Unisex Ironman Triathlon Sleek 50/100 Watch #T54281

This was actually a replacement watch, because somebody snagged my first one (don't know why I even took it off in the first place...)। Great sports watch--light, functional, plenty of features. Only a couple issues: 1) there's a slight crack that developed just on the left of the large start/lap button at the bottom of the watchface. I thought it was actually a scratch for the longest time, but it hasn't caused any problems (as far as I can tell). 2) The start/lap button is a little unresponsive at times, and it has been for as long as I can remember. Then again, this could be related to issue 1). Either way, great buy!!!

The watch's warranty makes you pay 7$ for shipping and handling if it has a manufacturing problem, which they usually do when inmersed in water for the first time. That in itself is a great business for Timex। Then the watch works pretty good for up to a year when the band falls apart and the water goes in। It is very dissapointing.
